Redemption Housing is proud to be a member organization of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA), a network of Christians committed to seeing people and communities wholistically restored. By undergirding mercy with justice, CCDA organizations value spiritual, emotional, physical, economical, and social restoration in families and communities.
Healing Communities provides support and technical assistance to faith communities by offering seminars in restorative justice, family reintegration, and family support. They challenge congregations to become Stations of Hope for those persons affected by the criminal justice system. Redemption Housing recommends their training for any church that desires to become a Connecting Congregation.
Opportunity, Inc. is a nonprofit organization with a vision to form alliances with like-minded entities, focus on humanitarian actions and economic empowerment, and address the lack of housing and employment opportunities in West Philadelphia. Redemption Housing and Opportunity, Inc. have committed to exploring collaboration in regard to properties, referrals, and job training.
The Philadelphia Reentry Coalition is a partnership of organizations working in the Philadelphia area to break down barriers to reentry, benefiting both returning citizens and communities by reducing recidivism. Redemption Housing participates in this coalition in order to improve communication, share resources and reduce duplication of efforts with other local organizations.
Quaker City Coffee is a profit-sharing company, focused on job creation for formerly incarcerated individuals, also known as returning citizens. Job creation and a positive impact on our community are Quaker City Coffee’s top goals. They believe the best way to achieve these goals is to provide excellent products and service at a fair price. With every cup you drink, you’re changing someone’s life. For every purchase of Quaker City Coffee, they donate $1 to Redemption Housing.
